Shipping Custom Wood Steps: Kitchener & Waterloo, Ontario
Shipping wood treads to Kitchener-Waterloo is fairly easy.
 We
use Apex Motor Express and they have proven to be very reliable
in transporting our custom wood steps to Kitchener, Waterloo
and the District.
We like the ability to put all your wood treads in one package
with the finished edges protected on the inside of the package.
We have used UPS and a number of other small box couriers
but because of weight limits per package a complete set of
steps must be wrapped up into 3 separate containers and this
leaves a lot of edges exposed.... AND at the same time doesn't
save you the client any money!
With Apex, you have basically two service choices:
- Depot Delivery: We first
make one nicely wrapped, clean package of your wood treads.
Kitchener Apex depot is at 18 Forwell Rd , in Kitchener
(519-579-5430 - see map below) and they can be held there
for you to pick up.
Pricing: $75.00 plus taxes for
up to 500lbs
(this is equavalent to more than 40 custom oak wood stairs.
Kitchener and Waterloo, Ontario homes usually don't use
quite that many steps 
- Direct Home Delivery: We
still use Apex Motor Express to get your hardwood treads
to Kitchener area, then they transfer your treads to an
"in-town" courier that will deliver to your house.
They phone ahead to find a convenient time.
Pricing: $105.00 plus taxes for up to
500 lbs

and we'll get right back to you with pricing. We custom make
these in the sizes, shape and wood that you desire and wholesale
them from our factory in Sudbury, Ontario Canada.
