Shipping Custom Wood Stairs: Ottawa, Ontario Canada
Shipping hardwood steps to Ottawa is relatively easy.
 We
use Apex Motor Express. They have proven to be very reliable
in transporting our custom wood steps to Ottawa, and the Greater
Ottawa District.
We like to be able to put all your steps in one package with
the finished edges hidden and protected on the inside. We
have tried UPS and a number of other small parcel couriers
but due to weight withstrictions per package a traditional
set of 14 steps must be broken up into 3 separate boxes and
leaves a lot of edges exposed.... AND doesn't save you the
customer any money to boot!
Therefore unless requested otherwise, or you only have a
few steps, we typically use Apex Motor Express. You have basically
two options:
- To the Depot: We can first
make a nice tight clean package of your wood treads. Ottawa
Apex depot is at 1435 Sandford Fleming Avenue , (613-244-0088
- see map below) and they can be hold your pallet there
for you to pick up.
Pricing: $75.00 plus taxes for
up to 500lbs
(this is equivalent to more than 40 custom oak wood stairs.
Ottawa homes usually don't use quite that many steps 
- Home Delivery: We can still
use Apex to get your wood treads to Ottawa, but they then
transfer your treads to an "in-town" courier that
will deliver to your house.
Pricing: $105.00 plus taxes for up to
500 lbs

these in the sizes and shape you need, and wood that you desire
